Publish multiple Facebook and Instagram Stories from one post
Postoria can now publish multiple Facebook or Instagram Stories from one post. Add the images and videos for a complete Story sequence, arrange them in the order you want, and publish, schedule, or queue the sequence as one piece of work.
We have also added an Also publish media to Stories option for regular Facebook and Instagram content. This lets one Postoria post publish the main feed content and send each attached media file to Stories.
Build a complete Story sequence in one editor
Previously, publishing a ten-frame Story sequence meant creating ten separate Postoria posts for every account. Now you can:
- Create a Facebook or Instagram post.
- Select Story as the content type.
- Upload all images and videos in the sequence.
- Drag the files into the required order.
- Select the accounts and publish now, schedule, or add the post to a queue.
Each media file becomes its own Story on the social network. Postoria publishes the files sequentially for each account, preserving the order shown in the editor.
Publish a feed post and Stories together
Sometimes the feed post and its supporting Stories use the same media. You no longer need to duplicate that work.
For regular Facebook and Instagram content, turn on Also publish media to Stories. Postoria will create:
- One main Facebook or Instagram publication
- One Story publication for each attached image or video
For example, an Instagram post with four media files and Also publish media to Stories enabled creates one main publication plus four Stories for every selected Instagram account.
Facebook Link posts are excluded because Postoria treats them as link-only publications without Story media.
See the real number of publications before publishing
The action button now reflects the number of external publications Postoria plans to create, not only the number of selected accounts.
If one Instagram account is selected for a five-file Story sequence, the button shows five posts. If two accounts are selected, it shows ten.
When a regular post is also sent to Stories, the count includes the main publication and every Story publication.
Review each result separately
After publishing, Postoria shows one result for each external publication. The same account may appear several times because every row represents a separate feed post, Reel, or Story.
Results for the same account stay next to each other and follow the publication order. Each successful result can have its own link, while failures show the error for the specific publication that failed.
If part of a sequence fails, Republish Failed retries the failed publications without recreating the successful ones.
Story comments and analytics
Stories do not support Postoria first comments. When Also publish media to Stories is enabled on a regular post, its first comment remains attached only to the main publication.
Postoria also keeps each publication separate for analytics. Available Story metrics still depend on the social network, account type, permissions, and the data returned by Facebook or Instagram.
Available now
Multiple Stories and Also publish media to Stories are available now for Facebook and Instagram publishing in the Postoria web app.
