How to use Analytics in Postoria

Analytics lets you review the performance of posts published through Postoria. You can compare posts in a table, follow metrics over time in charts, inspect detailed results by network or account, and download raw data as CSV.

Analytics is available on every Postoria plan.

Before you start

Keep these points in mind:

  • Analytics covers posts published through Postoria.
  • The available metrics depend on the network, account type, permissions, and content format.
  • Social networks refresh analytics on different schedules, so new values may take time to appear.
  • A missing metric means the network did not return that value for the post; it does not necessarily mean zero.
  • Postoria focuses on your connected accounts and does not provide competitor analytics.

Open Analytics

  1. Sign in to Postoria.
  2. Open Analytics from the main navigation.
  3. Wait for the post table to load.

The page initially uses the Last 4 weeks period and the current workspace.

Choose a reporting period

Open the Period selector and choose:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 4 weeks
  • Last 3 months
  • Last 12 months
  • Month to date
  • Quarter to date
  • Year to date
  • All time

The period includes complete local calendar buckets based on the current workspace time zone. The end of the range is the start of the next local day, so posts from the current day are included.

Filter by workspace

Use Workspaces to review one or more workspaces together.

  1. Open the Workspaces selector.
  2. Select the workspaces you want to include.
  3. Close the selector and wait for Analytics to refresh.

If no workspace is selected, Postoria includes all workspaces you can access. The workspace selector is hidden when only one workspace is available.

Changing the workspace filter also updates the accounts available in the account filter.

Filter by social network

  1. Open the network selector.
  2. Add or remove networks.
  3. Save the selection.

If no network is selected, all supported connected networks are included. The account list updates to match the selected networks.

Filter by account

  1. Open the account selector.
  2. Select the accounts you want to include.
  3. Save the selection.

If no account is selected, all accounts that match the workspace and network filters are included.

Compare posts in the table

Choose Table view to compare published posts.

The table shows:

  • Post title
  • Publication date and time in the workspace time zone
  • Available core metrics such as views, reach, reactions, comments, and shares
  • A Details action

Click a post title to open the post in Postoria. Sort columns or use the table pagination controls to review more results.

Only metric columns that contain available values are shown.

Inspect detailed analytics for a post

  1. Find the post in Table view.
  2. Click the Details icon at the end of the row.
  3. Use By network or By account at the top of the drawer.

The drawer shows every available metric returned for the post, organized into groups such as:

  • Overview
  • Engagement details
  • Clicks
  • Profile activity
  • Video
  • Stories
  • Reaction details

By network groups rows under their social platform. By account groups them under the connected account. This is helpful when one Postoria post was published to several destinations.

Use Charts view

Choose Charts view to follow metrics over time.

Postoria displays a card and sparkline for every metric that has a positive value in the selected data. Each card shows the total for the period and the time series below it.

Use the Group selector to change the time buckets. Available choices depend on the length of the selected period:

  • Hourly for periods up to 16 days
  • Daily for every period
  • Monthly for periods longer than 31 days
  • Yearly for periods longer than 366 days

If you change to a period that does not support the current grouping, Postoria returns the chart to Daily grouping.

Hover over the chart to see the date and value for an individual bucket. Duration metrics such as video watch time are formatted as time rather than raw milliseconds.

Understand metric availability

The main metric groups can include the following values when supported.

Views and reach

  • Views
  • Reach

Engagement

  • Reactions
  • Comments
  • Shares
  • Total interactions
  • Likes
  • Replies
  • Reposts
  • Quotes
  • External shares
  • Saves
  • Sends

Clicks and profile activity

  • Clicks
  • Link, outbound, and pin clicks
  • Photo views and other clicks
  • Profile views and profile activity
  • Bio link, call, direction, email, and text-message clicks
  • Follows and premium call-to-action clicks

Content-specific metrics

  • Video views, plays, unique viewers, and watch time
  • Average video watch time and skip rate in post details
  • Story exits, taps back, taps forward, and swipes forward
  • Facebook reaction details

YouTube metrics

For YouTube videos, Postoria displays the metric names supplied by YouTube in separate YouTube groups rather than combining them with similarly named metrics from other networks. Depending on availability, these can include:

  • Views and engaged views
  • Likes, dislikes, comments, shares, and playlist activity
  • Estimated watch time, average view duration, and average view percentage
  • Annotation and card impressions, clicks, and rates
  • Subscribers gained and lost

Count metrics can be used in tables and charts. Average values and rates remain available in post details and raw CSV export because adding them across posts would be misleading.

Do not compare different metric names as if they have identical definitions. A network may define views, plays, reach, and interactions differently.

Download raw analytics as CSV

  1. Choose the period, workspaces, networks, and accounts you need.
  2. Click Download CSV.
  3. Wait while Postoria prepares the file.
  4. Save or open the downloaded CSV.

The export uses the filters currently selected on the Analytics page. It contains raw post-level rows with workspace, account, network, content type, publication time, and every available metric.

Refresh analytics

Click Refresh to request the latest Analytics page data without changing your filters.

The source networks may still return the same values if they have not refreshed their metrics yet.

Troubleshoot missing analytics

If a post or metric is missing:

  1. Confirm that the post was published through Postoria.
  2. Confirm that its publication date is inside the selected period.
  3. Clear or adjust the workspace, network, and account filters.
  4. Check that the social account is still connected.
  5. Reconnect the account if its analytics permissions have expired or changed.
  6. Wait and refresh later, because some networks report metrics with a delay.
  7. Remember that some metrics apply only to specific formats, such as video, Reel, or Story content.

Why values may differ from a native app

Native social apps and their APIs can use different refresh schedules or reporting definitions. A value in Postoria may temporarily differ from the value visible in the native app.

YouTube metrics shown in Postoria are provided by YouTube and remain separate from Postoria and other-platform metrics.

Use consistent reporting periods and metric definitions when comparing results. For a broader product overview, visit Social Media Analytics.
